Smart AI Scale User Manual

The Smart AI Weighing Scale is designed for four core factory scenarios:

1. Smart Weighing System – High-precision sensor, multi-unit conversion (g/kg/lb), real-time display, auto over-limit alarm. Precision up to 0.1g.

2. Label Printing System – Built-in thermal/label printer. Auto-print after weighing. Content includes: product name, qty, batch#, date, weight, QR/barcode. Custom templates supported.

3. Full Traceability – Each carton has unique QR code. Scan to view: product name, batch#, date, weighing records, QC photos, operator info. Meets IATF16949/ISO9001 traceability requirements.

4. Standard Packing Verification – Preset standard packing qty. Auto-verify actual vs. standard with alarm on deviation. Supports full-carton and per-piece weighing modes.

5. Quality Control System – Built-in quality standards database. Auto-display specs and tolerance during weighing. Auto-flag non-conforming products.

6. Product Photo Archive – Built-in HD camera for auto/manual photos. Photos linked to weighing data and batch info. Cloud storage for remote verification.

7. Batch Management – Auto or manual batch numbering linked to production date, line, operator. Raw material batch linkage. Expiry alerts. One-click data export.

8. ERP/MES/WMS Integration – Standard API for seamless connection. OPC UA/MQTT/HTTP protocols supported. Order sync, production reporting, inventory update.

Three-layer prevention:

① Source Prevention: Unit weight database. Pre-enter each product's standard unit weight (0.01g precision). System calculates actual quantity = total weight ÷ unit weight, eliminating counting errors.

② Process Verification: Preset standard packing qty. Auto-compare actual vs. standard. Alarm on deviation to prevent faulty cartons from leaving.

③ Full Traceability: Each label has unique trace code. Scan to see who weighed it, when, which batch, total qty. Clear accountability.

Unboxing: Scale main unit ×1, Weighing pan ×1, Power adapter ×1, Power cable ×1, Label paper roll ×1 (optional), Manual ×1.

Hardware Setup:

• Place on a stable, dry, vibration-free flat surface.
• Install weighing pan securely on the sensor.
• Connect power adapter to 220V outlet.
• Power on and wait ~30 seconds for system boot.
• Connect to WiFi or Ethernet in settings.
• Connect external printer via USB if needed.

First Startup Configuration:

• Enter Settings (F8 or tap Settings button).
• Network: Choose WiFi/Ethernet/4G and configure.
• Time: Verify date/time/timezone (auto NTP sync).
• Import product database via USB or network.
• Import or design label print templates.
• Calibrate weighing with standard weights.
• Print a test label to verify.
• Configure ERP/MES integration: server IP, port, API key.

Weighing Issues:

• Inaccurate weight → Check surface leveling, recalibrate
• Weight not zeroing → Press tare or restart
• No response → Check sensor connection and power
• Fluctuating readings → Check for vibration or EMI sources

Printing Issues:

• Printer not working → Check USB, driver, label paper
• Blurry printing → Clean print head, replace paper
• Label misaligned → Adjust paper size in settings

Photo Issues:

• Blurry photos → Clean lens, ensure adequate lighting
• Can't save photos → Check storage space
• Upload failure → Check network connection

Network Issues:

• WiFi connection fails → Check router signal, restart router
• Data upload fails → Check server address and port
• 4G not working → Check SIM card status

System Issues:

• System freeze → Long press power button to force restart
• Touch unresponsive → Clean screen, recalibrate touch
• App crash → Restart app or reboot system

Software Updates:

• Firmware: Settings → System Update → Check for updates
• App updates via app store or push notification
• Backup config and product data before upgrading
• Do not power off during firmware update

Hardware Upgrades:

• Printer module: Upgrade to high-speed or different spec
• Storage: MicroSD card expansion
• Peripherals: Barcode scanner, label peeler, conveyor interface
