Are Top Mount and Top Mount Bushing the Same?

In communicating with customers, we find many confuse top mount and top mount bushing. They are actually different things.

1. Top Mount

Also called top mount assembly, includes metal skeleton + rubber + bearing, complete part installed at top of shock absorber.

2. Top Mount Bushing

Specifically refers to bushing component inside top mount, for repair market.

3. Differences

• Top mount is finished product, can be installed directly

• Top mount bushing is part, needs matching for use

• Different prices

• Different applicable scenarios
