Selection
- Generations (G11 classic / new) differ
- Give VIN or measure ID/OD/thickness
- Classic and new do not interchange - check OE
Diagnose
- Noise turning in place - bearing
- Creak over bumps - mount rubber
- Weak return - bearing + alignment
Steps
- Remove wheel, unbolt strut
- Compress spring, remove center nut
- New bearing, mount if needed
- Torque, align
